The chance of striking a number is about 1/38 which is 2.6316 %. Your probable return will be a multiplication of 36* 0.026316 or 0.94736. You must have noticed, the returns in both cases are similar. If you play many games and you lose money on every spin, your probable return will be considerably less. It is not really advisable to play many small hands; you are actually increasing your chances of more loss. I don't know if you have heard this before but when you flip a coin you have a 50 50 percent chance of it being heads or tails.
